Looking to elevate your savory dishes? ofi has just opened a brand-new herb processing facility in Beni-Suef, Egypt, bringing top-quality herbs directly to global customers.

To meet the growing global demand for fresh herbs, we’ve opened a state-of-the-art herb processing facility in Beni-Suef, Egypt, a majort herb-growing region. This new facility is set to process 3,000 metric tons (MT) of herbs annually, including basil, fennel, marjoram, parsley and dill, all sourced directly from local farmers. By working closely with our Ingredient Excellence Centers, we'll develop the best solutions for the diverse needs of international markets.

Egypt is a major hub for herb processing, exporting and growing, with upper Egypt offering ideal conditions for cultivation. Our teams in Egypt are dedicated to maintaining strong relationships with local farmers, ensuring the highest quality standards. Meanwhile, our innovation teams collaborate on a wide range of savory and culinary applications, leveraging our full portfolio of spices, nuts, and dairy products to offer tailored solutions to our CPG, retailer and food service customers.
