Relish the vibrant depth of Central and South America

The caramel notes of Guatemala and the nutty chocolate taste of Brazil—Central and South American green coffee is beloved worldwide, and it’s easy to see why. The lush rainforests and fertile climates create the perfect nursery for thriving beans. We source them from southern Mexico, through Colombia and Peru, to Brazil’s high plateaus. By fostering strong relationships with growers, we reinforce our commitment to protecting this special continent, its people and its environment.

Explore our origins

Brazil

With nearly 40% of the global market, Brazil is the heartbeat of the coffee industry, keeping it warm and thriving. Cherished for its smoothness and bittersweet chocolate notes, people around the world know Brazilian coffee is a byword for delicious quality, and we're pleased to contribute to its success. We’re one of the country’s largest coffee exporters, with extensive integrated processing capabilities and expertise on the ground. So, we can supply roasters with the volume and scale they ask for.

Colombia

Known for its wonderfully rich and mild quality that translates into delicious wherever you are, Colombian coffee is considered among the best in the world. Our on-the-ground presence in Colombia is supported by three coffee mills and a network of buying offices to deliver consistent quality. We offer most coffee varieties and qualities, including special regional specialties like Medellín, Huila and Tolima.

Guatemala

Lemon and orange citrus notes, spicy undertones and hints of caramel, chocolate and black tea. The beautifully natural sweetness and complexity of Guatemalan coffee makes this a true coffee paradise, with over 300 microclimates, rich volcanic soils and deep artisanal legacy. ofi is proud to be one of the top four exporters in the country, working directly with farmers to source micro-lots for delicious, traceable specialty cups.

Honduras

Whether you enjoy it lively and zesty or deep and decadent, Honduran coffee’s versatility makes it a truly exciting experience for any coffee lover. If crafting a unique blend from fresh, traceable, specialty arabica varieties sourced directly from over 800 farmers is your thing, Honduran green coffee is for you. High quality coffee that supports local communities, and delicious in every smooth drop.

Peru

Peru is making waves in the global coffee scene with a triumphant win over adversity that makes their success (and deliciously delicate floral coffee) all the sweeter. Once hindered by poor infrastructure, farmers are now showcasing their exceptional coffees on the world stage and scaling up as a top-tier certified coffee distributor. We work with over 5,000 producers to improve cultivation and processing methods. For boosted yields, even greater coffee and supported livelihoods.

Nicaragua

Nicaragua’s rich volcanic soils, tropical climate, and mountainous terrain create the perfect environment for high-grade green coffee beans with hints of chocolate, berry sweetness and wonderful fresh citrus notes poised to dazzle with roasting. As a top-three exporter, we bring Nicaragua’s certified and specialty arabicas to roasters around the globe. And in doing so, over 2,000 farmers and their families are supported thanks to a traceable responsible supply chain.

Mexico

Incredibly, coffee didn’t arrive in Mexico until the late 18th century (a world without coffee? Yikes). It’s come a long way since then, offering distinct, fruity profiles and a deep-rooted heritage. With a rich coffee history and a focus on positive social and environmental impact, Mexico is a top destination for green coffee lovers. Our team of 38 agronomy and buying experts work closely with over 100 cooperatives and farmer groups to source both mainstream and specialty coffees. Plus, with two coffee mills and seven buying units, we’ve built a robust, efficient system to bring you only the best—fresh, traceable, delicious.
