We manage quality, food safety, traceability and security of supply across the integrated value chain.
With supervision of the entire supply chain, based in California, we produce high-quality dried garlic that is among the most sustainable in the world. Our Hanford research and development facility develops cloves through our virus-free garlic program before they’re grown and harvested on our Central Valley planting fields in partnership with local farmers. Our processing plant in Gilroy then mills, washes, slices, and dices the yield to the desired size. Quality checks maintain unparalleled safety standards throughout the entire process.
High-quality raw garlic is secured by our team and brought directly to our new, state-of-the-art processing facility in the Shandong Province of China. Our vertically integrated plant manages the complete supply chain, from washing, sorting, gentle air-drying and milling. Our on-site quality control lab performs routine microbiological, chemical, physical and allergen testing, ensuring product safety and quality at every step.

Innovation
Our new, state-of-the-art processing facility in the Shandong Province of China delivers product safety at every point, thanks to the plant’s ability to manage the complete supply chain, from washing and sorting, to gentle air-drying and milling. Once processed, our on-site quality control lab can carry out microbiological, chemical, physical and allergen testing. This is equipment at the forefront of food safety.
In partnership with Brightseed, a biosciences data company, we’re exploring the health benefits of its black pepper varieties using artificial intelligence. Brightseed's Forager® AI platform is helping us research complex molecular structures to identify bioactive compounds and their potential health benefits. We’re considering different regions, cultivars, growing conditions and processing methods to see how we can harness the bioactive potency of our black pepper for good. Watch this space.
