At IFT, ofi will also launch its first 100% segregated, organic cocoa powder. The new, naturally sourced, deZaan Master O1 (O11DQ) cocoa powder is finer, richer in flavor, and has a cleaner texture than many of the organic powders currently available. Supported by more than 110 years of cocoa expertise, the deZaan organic range can be used across many application categories, so more food and drink companies will be able to utilize this new ingredient in their dairy, confectionery and bakery recipes. And because it’s sourced from organic certified farms across a variety of cocoa origins, the cocoa beans are traced through the transportation process, so customers can rest assured that the integrity of the organic certification is maintained. Visitors to the ofi stand will also be able to enjoy samples of deZaan Master O1 in Gluten-Free Double Chocolate Chip Cookies.
