Macadamia is a premium snack and ingredient

At ofi, we process Macadamias in our Vietnam facility. To maintain freshness it is stored in a cold environment. To maintain the macadamia nut, we apply a process of scoring the nut using automation and they are then gently hand scooped from their shell to retrieve the kernels. Macadamias are graded and separated based on color, size and if they’re wholes, halves or pieces. They are then packed and stored in a cold room.

 

Macadamias, despite being known as a more indulgent nut and higher in calories, are also known for their protein, fibre and healthy fats. Macadamia nuts are an excellent source of magnesium and contain high levels of monounsaturated fats, as well as only one gram of sugar per serving.
